Resistance to compression set - the ability to spring back into shape after being squeezed over and over again. It is the single most important factor in distinguishing sealing performance. All doors move. When the weather gets warm, all doors expand. When it gets cold, doors contract. Expansion puts an extreme compressive load on a door seal. Contraction can remove a door from contact with the seal. Por-Lon™ door seal are designed and field proven to move with a door, through expansion and contraction.
