Joe Bridgeford, President of Ultrafab, Inc. and Jairo Rico, President of TecSil announced today a long-term agreement between the two companies. Under the agreement, TecSil ( www.tecsil-la.com ) will distribute Ultrafab's pile weatherstrip seal products to window and door manufacturers in Panama , Colombia and Venezuela .

Ultrafab, based in Farmington, New York, is a market leader in window and door seals in North America and also manufactures unique brush products for OEM use. TecSil, with a corporate headquarters in Bogota, Colombia is a distributor of primary components used in window, door and glazing industry. Each is privately held.

The newly formed, long-term alliance will provide both companies the immediate ability to extend their service, technology and product offerings to a broad customer base. Product availability will begin January 2007.

UltraMask™ Pile weatherseals designed with a tear away
protective covering for use when painting PVC Profiles

UltraMask™ is designed to maintain a protective barrier around the pile seal during the multi-step process used in the painting of vinyl profiles.

Product works with major painting systems now in use throughout North America.

Covering will stay attached through secondary processes of assembly after painting.

Once covering is no longer needed, it can be easily pulled off the pile. The pile maintains important performance properties that result in a Class “A” AAMA 701 rating.

Product has a clear covering that allows the user to make sure they are using the right color pile, or type of pile.

Product is compatible with Ultrafab's industry leading insertion machinery.

Ultrafab Inc. of Farmington , NY announces the purchase of Designer Glass International of Columbus, OH.
