Ultrafab, Inc. continues to develop unique pile backing options that are designed for effective insertion and retention in PVC, pultruded and aluminum profiles. Ultrafab offers a number of PVC extruders backing options and has increased the capacity for two very successful configurations.

UltraFab’s first successful configuration, UltraPro® backing option, introduced in 2007 and widely accepted, features a radius on the pile backing. This allows for in-line continuous insertion into PVC extrusions.

Recently, Ultrafab included the UltraFill® backing option to it’s product line-up. UltraFill is the UltraPro backing configuration with a semi-rigid material added to increase friction, and once pile is inserted in the profile the UltraFill® feature eliminates movement of pile during window processing.

Ultrafab Inc. to distribute SealMAX™ foam seals to window and door manufacturers in US

FARMINGTON, NY − Alan DeMello, Vice President of Market Development for Ultrafab, Inc. and Cathy King, Business Unit Manager Building Products Division of SealMAX™, announced today a long-term agreement between the two companies. Under this agreement, Ultrafab, Inc. will distribute SealMAX’s line of urethane foam seals to window and door manufacturers in the United States. This line of urethane foam seals will be marketed under the name of PRO-LON®. Both organizations will work closely to expand and enhance the PRO-LON ® product line as applications in the United States require.

The newly formed, long-term alliance will expand the reach of SealMAX’s foam seal technology through the use of Ultrafab’s sales force, application engineering/testing facility, distribution channels, and regional warehouses within the United States. Product availability will begin immediately.

Ultrafab, based in Farmington, New York, manufactures a wide range of products and is a market leader in window and door seals in North America. SealMAX, located in Oakville, Ontario also manufactures a wide range of products, including high performance urethane foam window and door seals.
